Salford is a very well-connected city, being extremely close to Manchester, a main transport terminus.
Manchester International Airport is close by, and connected to Salford by road and rail.
The university has a mainline railway station, Salford Crescent, on its doorstep, with direct services all over the north west. There are regular services from Manchester Piccadilly, which has direct services from London, Birmingham, Scotland, Newcastle, Southampton and Devon.
The campus is connected by local bus services run by Stagecoach and First. There are also Megabus services to Shudehill in Manchester city centre, and National Express services call both in Manchester city centre and at University of Salford itself.
The university is also reachable by car, if you prefer to use your own transport, although parking will be limited, and come at a cost.
